Your data may be processed in the United States, where our servers (Supabase) and some service providers (Google Gemini) are located. Kindwise, our plant identification service, processes data within the European Union (Czech Republic).
Where we transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), our service providers maintain appropriate safeguards for data protection, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Some of our providers (for example Google and Supabase) are based in the United States and participate in data protection frameworks or implement additional safeguards to protect your data.

PlantBeat is not available to children under 13. If you are under 13, you may not use this app.
Users between 13 and 17 years old may only use PlantBeat with the approval and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to use PlantBeat, the parent or guardian agrees to these terms on their behalf.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will delete their account and associated data promptly.
PlantBeat uses AI services (Kindwise and Google Gemini) to identify plants and provide care recommendations. These are suggestions only and may not always be accurate. No automated decisions are made that legally or significantly affect you.
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
